Our Philosophy at Insight Therapy

At Insight Therapy, we are committed to providing compassionate, understanding, and inclusive care through a trauma-informed approach. Here’s what that means to us:

Safety

We prioritize creating a physical and emotional environment where you feel safe. We ensure confidentiality and privacy, establishing trust through consistency and reliability in our interactions

Trustworthiness and Transparency

We build trust with our clients by being transparent about our procedures, decisions, and treatment plans. Clear and open communication, coupled with honesty and integrity, is at the heart of our practice

Peer Support

We believe in the power of mutual self-help and support. By encouraging the sharing of experiences, we foster a supportive community among our clients

Empowerment, Voice, and Choice

We empower our clients by giving you a voice and a choice in your treatment. We encourage self-advocacy and self-empowerment, providing options and allowing you to make informed decisions about your care

Collaboration and Mutuality

We emphasize partnership and aim to level power differences between therapist and client. By working together in a collaborative manner, we value and consider your input and preferences throughout the therapeutic process

Cultural, Historical, and Gender Sensitivity

We understand and address cultural, historical, and gender-specific issues that may impact your trauma and healing process. Our care is culturally sensitive and inclusive, recognizing and addressing systemic inequalities and biases
